Symposium will be held on June 10, 2019 at the Institute of Chemistry, University of Tartu. During the symposium, a series of short presentations will be given by the Japanese and Estonian participants covering various topics in chemistry and physics, followed by exciting discussions.
"The first Japanese-Estonian Symposium on the Coordination and Quantum Chemistry will bring together theoretical and experimental researchers from University of Tartu and several Japanese universities, such as Kwansei Gakuin University, Okayama University of Science, Shimane University. We hope that it will help to keep already existing cooperation between these groups and open new pathways to intensify scientific exchange and joint projects. Such events have already become an indispensable part of international scientific activities in the world of globalized modern science and their role for the future progress strengthening academic cooperation will grow," said Professor Mikhail Brik, one of the organizer.
The Symposium will take place in the auditorium 1020 of Chemicum (Ravila 14a).
The event is organized by Institute of Physics, Institute of Chemistry and Estonian Center of Excellence TK141 at University of Tartu.
